Chancing upon the Coney Art Walls brought back fond memories of the once-rainbow-colored Houston Bowery Wall of last winter.

Although my chosen pop of pale blue bralette-top doesn't quite compare to the scarlet scarf of Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper (linked above), I would like to take a moment to pay my due respects to the roughly $7 piece of fabric. I've undoubtedly made use of it roughly once a week this summer - definitely the appropriate definition of getting a bang for the buck. And definitely a lot more versatile than a lot of idle "splurge" pieces in my closet.

Funnily enough I only purchased this top to fulfill the "single-purchase-spend" requirement for a random store membership when shopping with my aunt in Taipei. Life sure does work in mysterious ways :)
